Meditation
Meditation is somewhat difficult to explain because
everyone goes about it a different way, and everyone
sees different things envisioned to them during this time.
Normally I only share what I see with a select few
people who are very dear to me, but I'm going to allow
you into my dream state and share with you an experience,
that to me was very special.
To do my meditation, I normally wait until everyone in
the house is either in bed, or out for the day so I
have total quiet. I often put on some New Age music and
the headphones so I won't hear any noises outside,
as well as burning some incense. I'll get a pillow and
lay on the floor, some people like to sit but I find it
more comfortable to lay down.
I start my meditation the same way all the time, imagining
myself in a field full of tall grass on the edge of a
forest. I usually run through the field towards the woods.
Once inside I'm usually followed by several types of animals
who follow me on my journey. Usually, rabbits, deer, crows and
a snake who slips down from a branch and wraps himself
around my arm. This is really strange to me since I'm
scared to death of snakes. However, I find him very
comforting when he's with me. As I walk through the woods,
I come to a set of 13 rocks formed like steps. As
I begin to climb each of the animals begin to stop
and wait at the bottom of the stairs. All but the snake
who waits until the 12th step before he slithers off my arm
onto a branch. Once at the top I come to yet another open field
and basically do the same as before, except this time,
the woods are in a dense fog and very hard to see.
Now during this time, I'm still in control of what I see
and hear. That is until I get through the fog to the woods.
Once inside, I usually let my mind wonder and begin
off on it's own. Each time I meditate from here on is
different. However, one time really stands out in my
mind. After making my way past the fog and into the woods
I could see a tree in the distance surrounded by white light.
As I got closer, I could see the tree was being encircled
by cards of my tarot deck and Pentagrams which kept
spinning around as if they were protecting the tree.
At first I was hesitant but I walked onward towards the tree,
everything passed through me as if I wasn't there. There
was a doorway in the tree, which I opened and entered.
It was pitch black for a few minutes as I looked around,
but suddenly standing in front of me was the most beautiful
blonde-haired woman I'd ever seen. She looked nothing
like anyone I'd ever seen before, wearing a white gown.
She gently took my hand and told me to not be afraid,
that nothing would harm me here. The minute she took my
hand I felt my body become very warm and comforted.
I asked Her what Her name was and she said "Diana".
She leaned over and kissed me on the cheek and I knew
who She was.....my image of the Goddess! As we walked
the darkness faded and once again we were walking through
beautiful fields full of flowers and animals which
trailed behind her. A lot of things were on my mind
that week before I meditated and she visually showed me
the things I needed to do to change the outcome. I won't
go into detail as to what those things were, because I
feel that is between myself and the Goddess alone. Once
Diana was done telling me what She felt I needed to know,
she leaned over and softly kissed my cheek. Although I was
in a total dream state, the kiss was real and brought a
tear to my eye which I found on my face later when I
came out of my meditation. The reason for the tear?
Perhaps it was because I felt a love from Her greater then
any worldly love one can imagine. I suppose a good way to
think of it is this. Picture someone you love with
all your heart, someone you would give you life for
in a life or death situation. Now imagine that love a
thousand times greater!
To come back out of the dream state, all I do is
basically reverse the steps that got me there. Once I'm
again at the rock stairs, I count backwards from 13 to 1.
From there I awaken and fully remember everything and
haven't forgotten any of my meditations. Some people
however, don't remember them immediately after they
awaken. I suppose in that sense, just like everyone
meditates differently, they remember differently as well.
REMEMBER...No one can tell you how to do you meditation, but perhaps
you may find that a forest or the ocean works well for you or whatever
you find relaxing. Someone can only help guide you into your meditation, but
once you're there, it's all up to your guide.
I've told you one of my most precious meditations
so that for those who have never meditated before can see the
beauty it can bring you. It helps to align your body, mind, and spirit
together as one. To help guide you, teach you, and make you a
better person. It's a wonderful thing, and I wish you all the best
when you meet your guide. Perhaps it may be the Goddess, the God or
just your guardian who will come to you. But they will always
be there after you get to meet them. Get to know them well, for they
know you. Trust what they tell you and embrace them for they will
show you your path.
Goddess Bless!
